come join us as we hike on into fall! those that have not been in a while, we miss you. seems like many are traveling and fighting illness, so those of you out please take care!
here is our schedule for the week:
monday, october 11, 9 AM-11 AM
nashville zoo
we will meet outside the main gate at 9 AM and stay until around 11 AM (or feel free to stay as long as you choose). if you do not have a membership, please emailbambinobrigade@gmail.com so we can assure you get in with the guest passes we have.
wednesday, october 13, 8:30 AM
radnor lake, granny white entrance
multiple hiking options - from around 2 miles up to 5 miles. whatever your desire, most likely we will have someone going that hike. some meet for lunch after, so feel free to join. know that no matter what level of hiking you are, you are WELCOME!
we are trying a new idea with the elder children so all hikers get what they need. we will have two mamas hike with the elder children and a double stroller on the lake trail while any other mamas that would like a more intense hike without their walking children can take ganier ridge with the rest of the group. we will meet up half way and the other mamas that have been with the elder children can do the backside of ganier and meet the remaining portion of the group (including their kiddos) back at the parking lot.
there has been talk about possibly creating a 9 AM hike (in addition to the 8:30 AM hike) to accommodate later hikers. please share your thoughts. we do not want to create something that does not work for our hikers, so please share your voice.

to keep our community growing, we will have another *new* hike for families that cannot make our friday fun days in the afternoon. come join us for a hike with fellowship and exercise. all levels of hiker are welcome.

ellington agricultural center
park at the top of the hill. if you come in the main entrance off hogan road, go up the hill to the right and find parking anywhere around the grounds. we meet that the deck with picnic tables. we will hike and go see the horses. call if you get lost.
A FEW REMINDERS:
* our fellow hiker, Kacy, and her family now have sweet little Theo here. her help is gone this week, so please help her out! if you are interested in bringing a meal to her or help out in anyway, sign up through this calendar: http://mealbaby.com/viewregistry/240700.
* November 13 has been recommended as a day to get together as families - bring spouses, children, etc. if this date works well for you, please let me know. time is tentative 4ish on. maybe a potluck! if we get an overwhelming response about that date in a negative way we can reschedule. we would love to bring in the entire family into our community.
* we have window clings for sale for $5. please help support our group and show your love of the brigade!
