From one of our hiking mamas:
The hike was cloudy and cool. We had 13 mamas and 14 kiddos. On the top of Ganier Ridge we heard thunder and the last few minutes we had a light misty rain that really didn't get anyone wet. Two mamas encountered a small herd of deer- about 8-9 of them on the top of Ganier. And when we were walking back on the road a Blue Heron/Crane followed us all the way from the bridge around to the very far east point of the lake. It was a good hike.
