it was brought to my attention that black ink does not show up well without another color. i would appreciate feedback about the colors to use. we have most colors as options. bambinobrigade@gmail.com

hike report - friday, april 16
friday, we all met at Warner Park Nature Center. We had five mamas and eight bambinos. we took the Nature Trail through the woods and met another mama and her bambinos near the end of the trail and then the kids hit the mud pit for an hour or so. this week was the messiest to date! what fun. kids were covered in dry dirt from head to tow (and mine even ended up with wet-mud feet). thankful for the creek to clean all that off. each child had a blast!
remember each week to bring a change of clothes, especially since it seems there are more and more fun messes to make. even the little ones needed new clothes :)

ellington agricultural center
meet at the iris garden, which is your first right after entering the gate - we will have a short hike, bring a snack, and we may get to see the horses!
*money* is the phrase no one wants to hear, it seems, but it's something the brigade needs to address. our group is growing and members have made multiple suggestions to help improve our group. below are a few things concerning money.
*window clings
many members have expressed interest in window clings. these options are great because you can easily remove them from your car, but actually are more expensive to make. I would prefer to raise the money before we order, so here's how I worked it out. over the next few weeks we will be collecting donations to purchase the below design.
once we have collected enough money, we will order. if you make a donation of $4 or more, you will automatically get a cling. otherwise, we will sell the clings for $4 a piece. if you want one, please make the donation so we can order them sooner!
*sunscreen/ bug spray
it was suggested we have a group set of sunscreen and bug spray (safe for kiddos). if we can raise $75, I will purchase two bottles of sunscreen and three bottles of bug repellent (both california baby).
I will be out all week, so if you need anything please call instead of email, as I am unsure if I will have email access. 615-587-0630. also, if someone would email me hike reports for each day, I will post them when I return!
