we will meet outside the main gate at 9 AM and stay until around 11 AM (or feel free to stay as long as you choose). if you do not have a membership, please call so we can assure you get in with the guest passes we have.

radnor lake, granny white entrance
multiple hiking options - from around 2 miles up to 5 miles. whatever your desire, most likely we will have someone going that hike. some meet for lunch after, so feel free to join.

ellington agricultural center
park at the top of the hill. if you come in the main entrance off hogan road, go up the hill to the right and find parking anywhere around the grounds. we meet that the deck with picnic tables. we will hike, go see the horses and then eat lunch right by the fish pond. call if you get lost. this is our last 9:30 AM friday fun day hike in the morning, however some have discussed meeting at radnor on friday mornings for another hike. hopefully we will have that information available soon!

* we have window clings for sale for $5. please help support our group and show your love of the brigade!
* our rain policy is hike as long as there is no thunder or lightening!
* starting september 24 (that's next week), our friday fun day will change from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. we miss all our school-aged friends!! hope the new school year is going great.

many of you are on our facebook page and have used it on occasion. the page as a whole, however, is rarely used. also, I have personally gone off facebook for personal reasons. the group still exists on facebook, and you are welcome to remain a member of the group, but it will not be a mode of communication for bambino brigade. please use the bambinobrigade@gmail.com for any correspondence and continue going to the blog (or receiving the emails) for information!

happy weekend, brigade!
I hope everyone is enjoy this beautiful weather this weekend. fall planting and lots of outdoor activities are what we are up to.
I need some feedback. who goes to the blog each week for the schedule? do you send new people to the website? do you receive/ read the emails? does it help for me to post thing each week or is the calendar enough?

last week we had some that made it in a little late, yet still got to hang with the brigade! thanks everyone for being patient while we transition to this new time. I loved hiking earlier. come out with your worn little ones or your walking aged bambinos. we take as long as we need for all to enjoy the hike.
