OK, so first, I apologize for not writing this hike report until today - lack of sleep & an ear infection have kept me away. does anyone really read these?! :)
wedensday we had at least 12 mamas, maybe more, and 13 kiddos! the hike was our first from the new location, and it seemed full even over there. the weather was beautiful and the hike was intense - the back side of Ganier Ridge was definitely a change. we had at least two new mamas that have never hiked with us. a few went the lake trail all the way around, and some took Ganier and came back the road. The group that did Ganier ended up doing about 3.27 miles in about an hour and a half.
friday, we all met at Ellington Ag Center. We had seven mamas and eleven bambinos. we took a new trail beside the creek and the kiddos got to get their feet wet. we enjoyed a nice walk, then came back by the horses, meeting another mama and two little ones. we finished up by the gazebo, with kids rolling down the large hill. this was a largest friday group yet. each child had a blast!
