we have decided to stop pushing our Thursday hike, as we will be working to increase some other options for the week. Feel free to email amongst yourselves to meet up!

See you all at Ellington Agricultural Center with youngers and olders. Walking aged children (as well as our beloved riders) are welcome. Come for a short hike, run around the gazebo in the Iris Garden, and look for some fish in the pond on grounds. We may even see some horses (and have little nibbles on the heads of our blonds).

see you all tomorrow at Ellington Agricultural Center in the Iris Gardens! When you first enter the center, we will be at the first right (by the white gazebo)!

Turn Up The Radio!
Lindsay, one of our beloved hikers, will be on Radio Station 950 AM on Tuesday, January 19 between 7:30 AM until 9 AM talking about being a mother, hiking, and maybe she'll mention our brigade! Tune in and be listening to hear her talk a little about things going on in her world!

We are considering making bumper stickers for the brigade. We can do a 4"x6" or 3"x4.5". Plan was to have a simple oval sticker. Below logo with the phrase 'mama.baby.hiking.community.' in the black line along the oval at the bottom. Cost will depend on interest - the more we order, the cheaper it is.

happy 2010, brigade! hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and new year.
as you all know, it is really cold this week. we were trying to be overly eager and plan to hike this week, but 17 degrees is just a little too cold. many of us would go if not with little ones in tow. that being said, we are planning to still get together this week.
wednesday, january 6 at 10 am in the green hills davis kidd, there is a story time. we would like to meet go to story time then walk around the mall (to at least get some sort of exercise)! hope you can make it.
